Shopify App Development (Ruby on Rails)

I am currently looking for someone experienced with: - Ruby on Rails / Python / Node.js (any will do) - HTML / CSS / Javascript - Amazon AWS / Heroku - Shopify's API - Other Skills May be necessary. The Project: Currently I'm looking to create a very simple chatbot application for the shopify app store. This is a strict-budget project so the goal is to launch an app in its infancy / MVP stage. A Front-End Developer is already working on the actual design portion, and I'm looking for a developer that'd be more focused on back-end and bringing everything together. Brief Overview: ‘Butler’ will be a simple chatbot designed for the Shopify App Marketplace. It will have 2 distinctive display-formats. #1. It’ll appear as an exit-intent pop-up. #2. It’ll appear in the right-hand corner as a chat-box. Butler’s purpose will be to bridge the communication gap between store-owners and visitors; allowing store-owners to collect data and understand their visitors. The intention long-term will be to have Butler’ serve 3-key functions & corresponding templates: #1. Acquire E-mails #2. Provide Discounts #3. Upsell Products All these functions can be done through using and interchanging several common-variables, there will be a separate folder with conversation template examples. Variables can be organized into two major classes: #1. Send - This represents all variables that utilized and are sent by the ‘Butler’ chatbot #2. Response - This represents all variables that account for anticipated responses from the site-visitor. Send variables that can be used are: Necessary: #1. Text - Used to input normal text / up a prefixed amount of characters. #2. Image - Used to input images / images to be stored via a users Shopify Files. #3. Product (Add-To-Cart) - Used to add products to cart directly from within chat #4. Time-Delay - Used to delay interactions and subsequently move in and out of Response variables that can be used are: #1. Text - Used to input normal text / up a prefixed amount of characters. #2. E-mail Field - Used to input e-mail’s specifically / errors occur when e-mail format isn’t followed: @[login to view URL] (example) #3. Multiple Choice - Used to add in if/then/else statements to allow for variable responses thus triggering subsequent tailored send-variables. #4.
