Simply create the iPad based application using Filemaker Pro and run in Filemaker Go as well. The database connectivity between the Filemaker Go and Filemaker Server would be in Custom Web Publishing which is using PHP-scripting and it is my expert area. I estimate this would be a quick solution, can be a weekend job. So, on Monday everything ready for testing purpose.

Dear Tony, Most of the features you require are already built-in to the GO application that has a seamless relationship with the Filemaker server. For instance, when you make a change on a database layout for an iPad ,the iPad instantly updates without any human intervention. Adding more iPads does not require any additional coding. You may want to think about upgrading the server and GO version only because there are some interesting features that may enhance the user experience. The "Code" is embedded in the database so you will have that during the build process and when it is complete. Upon request I will send you my excellent client reference contact information. This is something very similar to what I have done in the past with connection between server and ipads for lobby registrations , cleaning station registrations, and certificate signing on ipad. I'm sure I can make a great work for you here since my other ipad solutions have been running for over 2 years without any problems what so ever. The adding of new ipads can be made in many different ways simplicity is not a problem but you cant make it to simple because I guess you want some good security involved (recognizing ipad for there mac addresses + passwords maybe kiosk mode ? or something similar) its of course up for discussion :) Best Regards Cez
