The name of App is LeanAssist. The app is to help a manufacturing company in implementing LEAN methods. The app will have several modules. To begin with it will have 3 modules: 1. LEAN Diagnosis : there will be a set of questions the app will ask. Based on the answers the app will give a score and suggestions on what needs to be done to improve score. 2. TAKT time calculator : The app will have a table for filling in data. Based on this the App will calculate and display a number called the TAKT time. 3. Bottle neck identifier : The app will ask for number of process steps. For each process step it will ask for cycle times . Some other data also will be asked. Based on these the app will display a graph (Histogram) identifying bolltleneck process. Printing of outputs should be possible.
