Design Input for our rented 2-bedroom apartment in Birmingham

We are currently looking for an interior design student/freelancer who is interested in helping us to find an interior design concept for our 2-bedroom apartment in Birmingham city centre. We are renting the apartment; therefore our possibilities to change the actual design of the rooms are limited. Nevertheless, we would love to get some input on how to realise our personal style, how to find the right colours for the flat and as a result, how to create the perfect mood for each room. We are limited to a budget and we are more interested in the design concept then realising everything immediately.
