Java communication issue – Undo the last change made to the application

Have a project that tracks a restaurant table status that needs to continually operate 24X7. The application is very stable and near completion. The system has one server and from one to as many need clients. One of the last fixes was how the server would act when it became disconnected from the network. The way the clients work, is if the client becomes disconnect from the network, the client waits until the network returns then reconnect to the network. The last programmer thought it was best to kill the server after waiting 5 minutes. So if the server becomes disconnect from the network for more then 5 minutes, the server will turn it's self off. This requires the user to restart the server application. The expected operation is the server acts like the clients and waits for the network to return and then reconnect to the network. There maybe more issues beyond this one, but to continue meaningful testing requires this one issue fixed first. A lot of effort was put into keeping the server and clients to remain connected 24X7 and the only remaining issue is how the system server responds to a network outage. I can provide both source and executable code. Milestones will not be release until I have the source code with fixes and have verified the fixes are in the source code that was provided to me so I am 100% satisfied with the project results. Most of the time I will require one week to completely test and verify fixes. This project will be awarded once I am convinced that you can do the work. You will determine the amount of funding for the milestone and the length of time it will take to complete the project. The project is complete when all the bugs in the project are fixed. If you are consulting, the milestone will be released after we review the results of the provided information. I will only pay milestones that I generate after we have discussed the terms and expectations for the milestone. A late project will be canceled. I will not work outside of Freelancer and report anyone that tries to do so.
