Interactive Website for Web TV Series

New York-based startup film production company seeks a freelance web designer/developer who can create a comprehensive, interactive and attractive multi-page web experience. The website is for an online TV series. The site is the primary platform for an award winning, critically acclaimed narrative series going into its second season. The site can launch in phases, but the first phase needs to be ready to launch soon. Qualified candidates are those with an extensive design portfolio. Should possess knowledge of incorporating e-commerce and Pay Per View into a site. He or she should also be eager to brainstorm with production company leadership, not just execute instruction. The ideal candidate will have the ability to self manage, be highly communicative, and have a passion for creating and remaining on the cutting edge of interactive technology. An innovative mindset is paramount. We are not looking for the status quo or simply filling in a design template. Thinking outside the box and desire to create â??the next best thingâ?? is key. This position will likely grow into more of an Interactive Director position, overseeing all interactive initiatives for the series and managing a social media intern so proficiency in multi-media is a plus. Knowledge of the entertainment and television industry is a plus. This is an incredible opportunity for someone to get in on the ground floor and help create the foundation for the interactive department of our company. Comfort with LGBT content is important as well. Pay negotiable, but will likely be deferred.
