Hello, I have made serval projects like this before using google APIs(Places API). I just finished another android project(not for freelancer.com but inspired from another project on the website). It was an app where you could make to do items and save those with a location attached to them. The phone then tells you when you get near any of these locations. This very much relates to your project. I'll start the project by defining what the app should be able to do exactly(is it just a list of nearby locations or can the user add favorite places or anything like that) and what design you want together with you. After this I will start working making the layout. For each finished Activity(screen/design) I will show you the layout to confirm that its how you want it. After that I will code the functionallity, with the above approach to be sure we agree on that the app should be able to do. I know my bid might seem low to be realistic but I also know I do not have been accepted on any of the projects i have bid on so I am willing to work for the lowest possible amount but still put full effort into the project so I can get a good review.
