We have an existing mobile payment application for merchants currently available on the Apple App Store. We need an equivalent native Android version made. All code for the IOS application can be made available including the API integration specifications. To elaborate on the project: It is a payment application. We serve some 500 small merchants in the hospitality industry. Basically they have a search engine integration with their website that allows people to book rooms for a visit. We provide a hosted payment page at the point of checkout where the customer provide payment detail to us. We collect the money and then pay the B&B. All this is done through our payment application backend running ruby on rails frontend to the application where merchants can manage their payments and schedules. The idea is that for the merchant they can create and upload products driven by the frontend through some simple API's from a mobile application. They can set pricing and product pictures with some simple descriptions. They can also create dynamic accounts. These accounts can be seen as a bar tab for example. The consumer can connect to a tab or account by scanning a QR code token. The accounts are connected and the merchant can then proceed to load products to the token. When the consumer or card holder is ready they can simply pay with the consumer mobile app with a click of a button and leave. No need to wait for a chip and pin machine or for the waiter to arrive and bring the bill. Currently to take payments and since we don't have the consumer app developed right now, the merchants use a component developed by Paypal to physically scan the card using the camera. We then process the card number through our API. In future we will be adding a physical bluetooth chip and pin device to the application. The IOS app is live on the App store and fairly mature.
