I would strongly suggest you not to go with Hybrid application but NATIVE. As this application needs to have real time experience for your end users, which is an important factor in any platform. You have mentioned that it also needs to have GPS location sharing, which makes the NATIVE applications an essential need for it. The technology stack for the back end should be MEAN.
