MySQL & Perl Database Review & Optimization

For an perl powered auction site launching within the next two weeks. The auction system is a major 3 year redevelopment of everyauction and has been been relabelled as The Foundry Auction The auction site will be powerered by this system and early forcasts suggest the site will get "hammered" by hits. The site will subject to a major investment of advertising revenue. What I need is a MySQL Database specialist who also has a good understanding of perl connectivity to come in and check over the database, give a second opinion pon the setup, connection code and offer advice on datatypes and point out areas of optimization and possible troublespots To re-iterate we need a MySQL specialist who knows the system inside out and not a general programmer Ideally you will be able to visit our office located in Bracknell near Reading for a couple of days possibly however failing that the work can be done via Instant Messenger.
