Active X Control

Our prior coder never finished this project and we need ti wrapped up. He was helpful and I have his code and source. The website [[login to view URL]][1] runs a scan on the users computer to check a variety of issues. The componet does NOT download anything onto the users machine (adware or spyware) so feel free to run a scan. We would like to add a component to that active x that the user will download that will do the following: 1. download an icon onto the users computer 2. check back weekly for a new icon to download on to the users desktop 3. have an interface that will allow us to change the icon weekly that will be downloaded on the users machine We would like certain functionality that would allow for an easy uninstall, not load up multiple icons and track active users. Feel free to email me with specific questions. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
