I want to create a website which will display points on a google map of the UK. The points are located with latitude and longitude and will be stored in a SQL Server 2005 database. They should be colour coded for each different category and display a few lines of text information when clicked or as a tool tip. The default map should not allow zooming in but if a parameter is passed, designating which points to display (by user) the map will allow zooming. It would be nice to allow zooming with the mouse wheel. The categories should be displayed with check boxes to allow the user to enable/disable the points within that category. There are two types of category that the user should be able to select from. I have the header and footer of the page already designed but these must be displayed. I would only like bids from developers that can show evidence of similar projects. I'm happy to supply more detailed information or examples if required. Im looking for an on-going relationship with a developer as there should be further work on the same project and hopefully future similar projects too.
