Online Design for Holographic Business Cards

Overview: We are a small though well established company interested in launching a new line of "imprinted stock background holographic cards" that will be made available on the net (our own website and as a module that can be customized for distributors). We wish to create an "online design" program that works quickly (loads quickly and runs flawlessly with an easy to use and iddiotproof user interface) that shows our existing image backgrounds and allows users to design their card and see it on top of the various backgrounds (30 stock backgrounds to start, though we need a way to easilly update and change backgrounds ideally from our own office without re-involving the software creator for basic informational or graphic changes). Further, the site must generate an art file that is vector based (in most cases) and be compatible and "ready to go" with an e-store as well (though we will want the end "webpage" both in an "online store interface" and in an "art submission only" version. The end product will allow a customer to pick from our existing backgrounds, choose from a list of existing layouts, customize their layout using a small list of type-fonts and sizes, add from a selection of clipart, upload their own line-art logo or graphics, see the entire layout on the screen over the top of a background, change backgrounds to the art they created or change art on the background they choose easilly and quickly, and have the art they designed sent in a "print ready fashion" (vector) to our firm for processing with other e-mail features built in for order handling. ## Deliverables *MAY 21 IMPORTANT SUPPLEMENT TO BID REQUEST - PLEASE SEE "OTHER FILE ATTACHMENT" WITH A MORE DETAILED OUTLINE OF THE BID REQUEST. Below I am showing links to sites that have similar design online interfaces, though these use a database of thousands of existing "art backgrounds" that we do not need - as our backgrounds will be already created "hard products" that we will print only the customer design on top of. There are certain things we like (and don't) about each of these sites, so we would want to discuss the specifics with you before proceeding of course. At present, we need to know if this is someting that can be done for an affordable cost, as we are of very modest budget to get this thing up and running in order to test an unknown market with a virtually unknown product. 1. The following sites (may be same master with different customizations) are extremely close to what we want to develop. The main different is that we have way fewer "backgrounds" so we want the backgrounds to be able to be available to click on (either a small winjdow that scrolls through, or a line next to the card similar to the layouts on some of these) so the background can be easilly changed: a. <[login to view URL]> b. <[login to view URL]> 2. Also it implements "clip art" which we want to use as well.
