We are looking for one or more freelance coders to assist in developing custom applications for our worldwide client base. While our initial requirement is for a single project, the successful candidate(s) is likely to be required on an ongoing basis for at least 25+ hours per week on an indefinite basis if we are happy with your work.
We develop custom Flash extensions (apps) for Adobe's Connect Pro web conferencing platform and the back-end applications they communicate with. The conferencing environment is 100% Flash based but currently only supports AS2 which can be a bit of a pain but has also made us the world-wide authority in this market niche.
The back-end systems are typically developed using Flex for the UI and PHP/MySQL for the server side with communications between the two in XML..
Our clients include blue chip companies on every continent.
Our applications need to use the Adobe Connect Pro SDK (see below) as well as talk to external database servers, flash media streams (rtmp:), legacy systems and often need to communicate to other APIs (e.g. Adobe Connect API, Twitter, Skype)
As a result our programmers typically need a wide array of skills from Flash to Flex (used for building back-end admin interfaces for our products), MySQL, PHP etc.
Knowledge of Flash Media Server is also required for a project currently in-house that requires your immediate attention.
You are self-directed, willing to do what it takes to deliver first-class products and are customer focused. Please send your resume, links to work you are particularly proud of (not the stuff you wrote on the Introduction to Flash Programming course), and tell us why you're "The One".
The available budget for this application incuding integration with our FMS server, testing, QA/QC and debugging of errors on deployment is US$1500.
If you are interested in this job please take the time to learn more about the Connect Pro SDK. Due the the large number of responses from people who clearly do not have the skillset we need (I guess they respond to every job posting) reading this document is a pre-requisite for applying for the position.
