Website (basic, Eng/Jpse) edit

Rush job: A Japanese/English website needs to be edited to reflect new text. [Current site structure: Brochure-type static website; home page with intro flash animation, from there users can click into the English or Japanese version, both versions are mirror images of each other, the only differences are the text and the navigation buttons are in different languages; each side has 6 pages, for a total of 13] *Intro flash animation needs to be edited with new text *Eliminate 2 pages on each Japanese and English side *Text on 3 of the 4 pages to be replaced with new text (we provide) *The contact form (PHP script?) should work as is, but may not because the site has been ported to a different server *The text in some of the four GIF navigation buttons needs to be changed *The text in a GIF on each page needs to be changed *Proper vertical alignment of navigation buttons and big graphic on each page Timeframe: As soon as possible Software used to design current site: Unknown The designer does not need to be able to read/type Japanese, only be able to place the Japanese text that we provide, where indicated. But the designer’s computer and possibly applications need to be capable of handling Japanese text. As a test, please try modifying a publicly available Japanese web page. For example, Macromedia Contribute 3 (English version) did not properly produce an English page with some Japanese text inserted (it also messed up the pages a bit). The Japanese version of the software may work, however. The entire website will be provided as a ZIP file. The modified web pages should retain the same look and feel, same fonts, and same design elements, and should look the same in all the major browsers (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, and maybe a couple others), which is how the site looks now. This site edit is to create a temporary one; it will be completely overhauled in a few months and built on a CMS. ## Deliverables For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
