Modx Revolution cms fixes (php programming skills)

Hello, I need someone who is familiar with MODX CMF and PHP. I have a site made in MODX Revolution, but i have 2 new tasks to do on site: 1. To add one checkbox which will give me option to choose if article goes in homepage slider, or not. Now by default 3 latest articles are visible in homepage slider, i want to have ability to choose which article should be there and which don't. 2. Calendar page. This looks like every other calendar, with fields which represent days of current month, with previous month - next month links. Articles we added to the database should be displayed sorted by days on this calendar table page. I think every skilled PHP coder should know how to do this.
