Magento error - Magento connect results in 404 error

Magento error - Magento connect results in 404 error I tried the common solutions with changing file permissions, also indexing and emptying cache.. but everytime i try to go to Magento connect - i get an 404 error. In addition to this i get an sql-error entering the admin panel... but after refresh its all working.
