61455 PNG to HTML then to PHP

View our under construction web site at: [login to view URL] This job is now a revision of two jobs we had listed previously on SL and had begun but stopped because we felt our pick of programmers was not the best picks. We have completed much of our sites conversion and this is now the continuation of this project. You can view them at: [login to view URL] [login to view URL] You will see that the first was a simple slicing job of PNG files. We have used CSS to define many page elements so you must know how to deal with this and expandable text boxes, etc. The second part is to take the HTML pages and integrate them into our PHP site. We are basically replacing all of the current pages with new designs, so most of this template based work is simply replacing existing pages in the Templates directory with new ones and making sure that the PHP Scripts in another directory are working properly for these pages. I have done many myself and most take no more then a few minutes to do. It is the ones that require some small changes that will take a bit longer as well as the dynamically fed pages. The site is a template based site and the only area that changes is the "middle" section on each page. The other parts of the page, the top, left and bottom are done so only the middle now changes. Some of these are quite small or just a header changed and the pages are the same, while others might contain a form, but nothing too difficult. I want someone to have a good knowledge of PHP to integrate and modify the dynamic pages to our DB if necessary too and correct any faulty code with any of the pages you will work on if there is any. Again nothing major, but if there is a bug or a small change in a page, or we need to add a field to our DB, we want this person to be able to do this for us as well. The code is very clean now. This site doesn't require brain surgery, but someone who is good at PHP and very organized to do each page and keep track of what was done and not done, so organized people only. For now we only have about 30 critical pages give or take to do to get the site live. Once done we can then go back and work on Phase II which will be other pages and sections of the site. Time is critical so we need someone that can get on this right away. If you are a hard worker and good at this stuff, it should take very little time to complete this job. We are still working on additional pages, but we have enough to get you started right now. [login to view URL] - these pages were sliced from the PNG files you will see above. Look how clean they are and how they utilize our CSS. You will be required to do the same with our new PNG files. You should have experience working with Dreamweaver, Fireworks and Photoshop/ ImageReady to help you do some of this work. We are now thinking it would be smarter to find one person or company that can do both the slicing and PHP work so if you can do both then this would be a good place for you. We also feel that it might pay to just pay you by the page to do the work. Some pages might take a bit more time, while others will be duplicate pages with minor changes that can take a few minutes to do. It should average out. But remember, that what ever you quote it must include some extra time for doing the small modifications we might ask of you or some alterations of existing code. We don't want anyone to say to us "well this is not my job, or I thought I was just going to slice up some files", you must be flexible or it won't work. After reviewing the site and the links above give me an idea of what you would need to do this job. The initial project is a small one and should be done fast, but we will continue to use our new programmer to go into Phase II and beyond, so this is more of a test then anything else. You can bid by the page which I feel would be better for both and give you more incentive to work fast. Or you may bid on a job which would include 30 pages for now, plus the PHP modification and problem solving as needed. If we need you to do more pages we will let you know and we can alter the totals later on. If it is less then 30 pages, then we will use your talents for equivalent work on the site to make up the shortage of pages. Your work will be checked by our staff programmer to make sure it meets our requirements and is error free before payments are made. No starving programmers please...we are tired of programmers underbidding the job just to get the first payment and then not doing the work or those that bid low thinking it is a good in to a major client only to quit when they think it takes more time then they thought it might.
