Advanced search with filters for Wordpress site

Are you a skilled Wordpress/PHP developer ready to rock? We need you to code a configurable snippet for Wordpress themes we develop. OVERVIEW: I need you to code an advanced search snippet to be inserted into various Wordpress custom themes. This search functionality should be able to: - Search globally or within custom post types as needed; - Filter specified fields, whether standard or custom. DETAILS: Snippet should allow me to: - Choose if search is global or within a custom post type; - Choose what fields are to be displayed as a filter, whether field is standard or custom; - Enable site visitor to enter a range (eg: maximum & minimum fields) and filter any result outside of that range. Filters should be able to incorporate both standard Wordpress fields as well as custom fields created either through the ACF plugin ([login to view URL]) or CMB2 library ([login to view URL] The snippet needs to have comment-style-documentation throughout the code explaining: - What each section does (eg: Post type, range filter code); - What to duplicate per need (eg duplicate this part to add filters); - Which parts are core functionality. Of course I will also need instructions how to implement it with the theme. The snippet needs to be able to handle multiple instances: - 1 instance of the snippet per search block - Snippets need to function & not conflict even if applied to the same page (eg multiple search blocks on 1 page) The snippets code should be clean - Important for ease of customization Compatibility - Needs to be able to stand up to foreseeable Wordpress updates - Needs to be compatible with common plugins - Needs to be compatible with Modern browsers & IE 8+ SKILLS: The freelancer should be proficient with PHP, Wordpress, HTML (HTML5 preferable). TRAINING: Nothing major. we just need a walkthrough of the snippet, how to customize & implement it. The support comments inserted should be sufficient help from there on.
