Build the design framework of a website

We're building a website focused on running and managing home game poker tournaments. Freelancers with experience in poker tournaments and knowledge about these will have far better chance at understanding our needs. The winner can expect further work as the project evolves. The site has 2 primary areas which we need design mockups for. 1. Is the "core" functionality of the site, which, in all its simplicity, is a "Poker Timer", meaning a screen displaying relevant tournament information to the users. The screen needs to hold information like the poker timer itself, blinds, antes, number of players, prize pool and so on. Focus needs to be on: - A responsive design where information can be easily added / moved / removed depending on what users want displayed. Modularity is the keyword for the design here. - A simple, sleek, yet stylish presentation of aforementioned information. - A design which will work with several background colors and which is easily customizable. Inspiration can be gathered from sites like: [login to view URL] or [login to view URL] 2. Is the "Community" part of the site. This part of the project revolves around an easy platform for communicating, sharing and creating content for other users. This part of the site should also have a focus on responsiveness, and we are looking for a 3-column design (for PC users or larger tablets). 1. Column is the "control panel area", where an easy manageable menu will serve as the main navigation area. 2. Column is a "Facebook-like Feed area, where "updates" should pop up in boxes, much like we see it on social medias. 3. Column is a "notification" area, reserved for relevant news, information (images, videos, stories and so on) and ads. The community part should also contain a "Top bar" with search bar, user profile and settings (much like you know from Facebook). The focus on the design here is making a color scheme and general style of the page, which will fit not only private users, but can also scale for larger tournaments. This is all about presentation and showing a platform which we can build on together with you moving onwards.
