CONVERT SIMPLE 4 PAGE ASP WEBSITE FROM Access and ASP TO PHP and MySQL Your job is to convert a simple calendar website which exists on a godaddy server from ASP (using an Access Database) to PHP and MySQL using a HostGator account. The website address is detailed in the attached project requirements document. There is no data to port. Only tables need to be created. Enclosed you will find the following: • Project requirements Document named [login to view URL] • Folder named Website that has scripts that need converted • Folder named Database with the existing access database that needs converted to MySql I will provide the ASP scripts and the Access database from the existing website. Please specify in your proposal how long that you will take to complete the task. You only need to convert the code that is used for the functionality of the site described in the attached project specification. The simple functionality of the site is detailed in this document. The site consists only of 5 viewable pages of submits and processing of the page submits. None of the data in the database needs to be ported to new database. You will be provided with the username and password of the hostgator account along with all necessary technical information. You must follow these rules: 1) you must keep all function names the same. Only change asp to php 2) you must detail what you did in the hostgator control panel to set up the database. 3) Please specify all tools that you use to create new database and document in detail how this is done. 4) Please detail how to backup the database once this is complete and how to restore database if this needs to be done. 5) Please detail the application used to create the MySql database. I currently use Microsoft Access for editing and viewing the database and would like to know of a replacement desktop program for Windows exists to use to view and edit the database contents. 6) You cannot use any third party libraries to complete the task. No wordpress, no jumula, etc. The reason for this is I want the code to be portable and I don’t want the problem in 5 years to find a new web hosting company that supports droopula 3.0 for instance.
