I'm starting a new IOT project for aquarium / grow control cloud webapp. And before i start developing the webapp i would like to consult and brainstorm with a more experienced freelancer on ways i can accomplish this new webapp,
You must have some experienced with:
- Java
- Arduino & Raspberry PI
- MQTT / ECLIPSE etc..
- framework for Dashboarding (php)
Short brief:
The webapp would have some similarity to [login to view URL] in a way user may add a new dashboard and connect multiple arduinos nodes to that dashboard, however it has its own built in functions / sensors that once activated, and path to sensors function is set by user it will activate the function and its configurations on the relevant arduino sensor node (or provide a sketch to user for copy/paste).
The functions are hard-coded, and user only have to add his preferred configuration: For example when to turn on/off the light, and path to the relay.
Example:
User create his first dashboard (maybe he/she has 2 aquariums) > User upload the default generated sketch to connect the arduino sensor node to dashboard > In dashboard settings user activate and configure dashboard functions, such as:
1A . When to turn light on? Option 1: between ______(ex. 08:00) to _____(ex. 20:00) Option 2: Sunset to sunrise 3. sunrise to sunset (built in function)
1B. Where is the relay responsible for the light? ________ (Arduino sensor node "1", digital PIN "3")
2A. would you like to monitor water temperature? if yes, what are is the minimum temperature ____(18) and max temperature ____(28)
2B. Where is the sensor (DS18B20) responsible for water temperature located at? ______ (Arduino sensor node "2", Digital Pin "34")
(the dashboard configuration page have similar questions as the above)
> Once user save the settings it will automatically upload or generate a code to upload the necessary sensor module & settings to the arduino node > the new sensor or relay data will be available on dashboard (like it will show when light is on or off)

This project/task will be considered completed when the freelancer deliver the following:
Theoretical level
- Research / search / Think for an easy solution to accomplish the webapp (for example a combination of MQTT, API, XX Framework etc..)
Practical level
- Prepare a basic example (based on research) to show how this would work out i reality
Once this task is completed, the chosen freelancer may provide an offer for developing parts of the project (we can discuss who make what part).
