I have a classic ASP script which reads an MS Excel 2003 XLS file (Excel 8.0 driver) to check membership records. One of the output options is to extract a sub-set of the XLS data creating a new XLS file. I now need to update this to Excel 2007+ using an Excel XLSX file (Excel 12? driver). Reading an XLSX file is OK, but creating a new output file is completely different. I can supply a sample XLS file and the original script if required.

Hi, If I get the source code for xls based script, I can change it to xlsx based script. Dynamically creating xlsx file in ASP or any other language is very different compared to xls file but provided the output is of same pattern except number of records, it will be much easy job for me. -- Waqas
