Hi there, An Excel file will be very hard to maintain. Data is not presented in a readable way and cannot be filtered. I can create this software in PHP, where you can create Student Accounts and profiles and Leaves. And then print or view those reports even with filters and search. Moreover, PHP web application can be accessed from anywhere with an internet connection, even from your phone. Can show you example of how such application. Thanks.

Hey, I read through the requirements brief and what you are looking for can be done in different ways. As you mentioned, this can certainly be done in Excel and may have a database enabled for it. My bid is for such a setup. It can also be done as a web based portal but that is a bit more complicated in the sense that it requires a web-hosting etc. If you have only a few users of the system and a share folder on the network the kind of system I am proposing would work best. I have done similar setups for different clients and can assure you that it will work very fine for your purpose. If you prefer web-based implementation we could discuss that as well. In either case, I will need some more details like for example the information you would like to capture, the info that needs to be printed etc. Based on these, I would be able to create a setup in Excel (or PHP, .Net etc.) as per your requirements.
