Something in my PHP has started to cause all my sites to load much more slowly than before and to periodically in spikes overload the server memory and CPU. The websites have slowed to a crawl with some pages timing out. You can see for yourself with one site: bodybody.com. The loading is so slow some page speed tests cannot even detect the home page. Also editing Journal in the Open Cart control panel causes its formatting to disappear. Furthermore, some extensions like Nitro Pack and Customer/Order Import no longer work. Enabling Nitro Pack causes a warning to appear that says certain modules are missing; the host checked and found that the modules are indeed on the server. The culprit seems to be the database for one of my Open Cart sites, bodybody.com. These problems began when I uploaded over 10,000 items with their large image files in a series of data feeds of 1,000 products each. The project is to diagnose and fix the problems so the sites return to at least a middle rating in page speed tests as they were before. Once the pages load at an acceptable speeds we can check to see if Journal and the various extensions start to work properly.
