1. Over the past month the email address for our cleitns website has been receiving large (approx 2000) amounts of 'Mail Delivery Failed' messages. In the hope it was backscatter from Spam servers that would be detected and shutdown, I have not actively tried to resolve it. An example of a messages is detailed below. (I have put what I thought was the relevant part in bold). The website doesn't have any registration process that I'm aware of. This message was created automatically by mail delivery software. A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed: Google Webmaster Tools has now sent a separate email, content below, to the email address registered with them User-generated spam Google has detected user-generated spam on your site. Typically, this kind of spam is found on forum pages, guestbook pages, or in user profiles. I have tried a keyword content search as suggested by Webmaster tools, and although the results were shown mainly in Japanese and Chinese , the translations referred primarily to Moncler, clothing and ladies etc. From extendcp File manager, and looking the [login to view URL] tree, there are numerous .php entries, under various directories, that refer to things like Moncler, uggboots, cheapmoncler etc. So it looks like some sort of malware or code has been introduced to the site. Coincidentally maybe, the same sort of thing, with the samed named offenders, occurred around the same time last year. Would you be able to check, disinfect and repair the site as required and recommend any preventative measures we could take ? Winning bid will get: An example of an email - sent/received Joomla login FTP Access Access to control panel extendCP not cPanel) Error log and PHPMyAdmin as available in ExtendCP You must have strong malware coding and understanding of google webmaster tools, clean this site up, prevent it happening again and get the google webmaster account to approve your work. This is a subcontract job - I manage the website and hosting, using contractors like yourself. No direct contact with the client will be permitted. IN your bid put your experience and timeline for when you think you can get this completed please.

Thank you, i understand this work for your client website, to remove malware codes from infected files. It can be done using follow procedure: 1. Some time it is not easy to detect the infected files automatically by tools or by files content searching, so we can compare all files with original files to know which file is infected -> we need to compared for the "last-good" (or default) files. I guess you do not have a "clean" backup of the Joomla site (if you have it the work will be easy). If not, we can compare with default Joomla installation (and component/plugin/module). Can you please provide me the FTP so i can look at how many files are infected for you? Thanks 2. Make the change needed.
