Online USPS Mail piece tracking

Mail tracking application either as a wordpress plugin or code to be inserted in an html web page to run on LAMP based website We would like to provide our customers a way to track United States Post Office data on our web site. Much like [login to view URL] and [login to view URL] provides tracking for packages on their sites, our application would be used to track mail pieces not packages. The client would not need to login to the site to lookup deliveries. How the process works: Data Source: A .pkg file is a compressed text file automatically delivered by the USPS to a predesignated FTP location five times daily. The file has the same password for each account. We would like the file to be automatically uncompressed. This file has five fields: Field 1. The Postal Facility Zip Codes Where the Scan Occurred Field 2. The Scan Operation Code (reference [login to view URL]) Field 3. Time Stamp of Scan Field 4. The 11 digit Zip Code of the Delivery Address (Zip Code + 4 Digits + Delivery Point) Field 5. The Unique 20 Digit String Identifying the Sender and Record Number of the Recipient The IMbTracing Operation Codes List identifies whether an operation is a Stop-the-Clock scan as "Yes" or "No". When a mail piece is processed with a Stop-the-Clock code before 10:00 a.m. (timestamp) it is likely that it will be delivered the same day.  We desire the tracking GUI to take a 31 digit input code.  That code would be field 5 (20 digits) above followed by field 4 (11 digits) The Unique 20 Digit String Identifying the Sender and Record Number of the Recipient The 11 digit Zip Code of the Delivery Address (Zip+4+delivery Point) It would be the responsibility of the programmer to accommodate the input of the 31 digit as a single string entry to query for tracking delivery even though the USPS scan data parses the data inversely. The client will have been sent a .csv file of the original fields with name, address, city, state, zip, zip+4, and 20 digit string that they input After a record is 60 days old, we would like it to be moved an older records table for queries lookup for history of records searched so we can see which client used the program.
