prepare a php function for search numbers and compare

i have a variable that have a 4 digit number, let's say 3577. i have a multi dimensional array that have "numbers" and "values". let's say $variable = 3577; $matches_array = array ( 1 => array( 'num' => '8', 'value' => 'kuku' ), 2 => array( 'num' => '37', 'value' => 'bobo' ), 3 => array( 'num' => '357', 'value' => 'ruru' ), 4 => array( 'num' => '77', 'value' => 'nono' ) 5 => array( 'num' => '33', 'value' => 'ar' ) ); the function will need to go over each of the numbers of the array, and check if the numbers exist in the variable i have (the 4 digit number). in the example above, the function will need to check if the 8 number exist in 3577. the number does not exist, so it moves on. then it searches 37. 3 and 7 exists in 3577, so it needs to echo the number with the value. then it goes to 357, it checks if 3 exist, then 5 then 7, it exists, so it echo the number with the value and moves on to the next array key. so now it searches 77, it checks if there is 7 and it exists, now it checks if there is another 7, and it exists (it does not repeat the same number to match), since there are two 7 number (order does not important), it echo the number. now it gets to the last number which is 33, there is 3 in the 3577, but there isn't another 3, so it counts as if it didn't found the number and finishes.
