Viability study: Amazon seller reimbursement tool

There are situations when Amazon should provide a seller with a refund, but doesn't. I'm thinking about making a light app that will grab data via the API, perform some analysis and report findings. Already some people are accomplishing the same result with Excel spreadsheets. But there are other people who will think this is too complex or wish to automate it. It should also be possible to scrape the data. But I'm thinking about making this tool more public and I don't think people would/should trust me with their actual login credentials. So I'd like to fully explore whether this data is available over the API before considering scraping. This should be a painless and fun project for someone who knows what they're doing. The above task is a fixed price project, but will develop into a larger project over time. Additional milestones can be offered if the scope expands. Future feature development will also require MYSQL. Previous experience working with the Amazon MWS API would be extremely advantageous.
