c++ on raspberry pi, social networking code

we would like our app, Vorail, to work on raspberry pi. Vorail is a social networking app on iOS and android for low vision and blind users. we started the c++ version months ago, but the person working on it is only available on weekends. looking for someone who has the qualifications and interest to complete the work. i can share the github repository with the work done to date. we are working on the rpi platform, running linux, with cpu architecture of arm (not intel or amd!). rpi3 using armv8, and rpi0 probably using less powerful cpu. the standard linux name is aarch64-unknown-linux-gnu. c++ language spec we follow in the project is c++14, which is supported by both clang/llvm and gcc compilers. the existing vorail c++ project is divided into 2 parts: .. a framework (or library) that handles: - openal-soft based audio player (player) - placing audio source in space (ap_track) - decode mp3 from local file (file_mp3_decoder) - decode network stream (stream_mp3_decoder) - fading, moving effect (transitions) - network reactor, based on libcurl (netcore) - handle binary mp3 data (stream_mp3_decoder) - handle text/json: (rest_task) - user interaction capture - keyboard (keyboard_input_source) - (not done yet) rotary_input_source - ViewControll - View (abstract class to be subclassed) - the framework that multiplex above events (not fully finished) .. an 'app', handles business logic (not done yet) would like to start the work with a mini project, to see how well we work together. following is an idea that we could setup as a separate upwork project: stream an mp3 file from google cloud, we can provide the url: - must be implemented in C or C++, prefer C++14. - must use libcurl for the network (it's more of a standard nowadays) - must use openAL-soft to handle audio play - press 'p' on keyboard to pause / play think this is a good place to start? would like to find one or two freelancers we can have long term relationship with.
