As you already know :) there could significant differences between the 3d printing model and injection molding model, which could lead to high costs or not in terms of the mold manufacturing costs... In the first place, is necessary to see the cad model you already have After this we could discuss about the price and time frame... (some features could be preserved, some of them - can't, and/or some could be necessary to be completely redesigned... Hej! As an industrial designer I'm qualified to help you adapt your design to be manufactured with a different technology. Hopefully there will be no need to alter it's outer shape at least. Is it an enclosure or a solid object? In any case I can help you take the best technical decisions to turn your design into a feasible product.
