I have a requirement for a sales report to be written against data in a database table that contains order information. The table has a field which stores serialized json. That json has a complex structure to include records and nesting. I’d like to use Power Bi to do the report however it’s unclear whether Power BI can handle reporting against this datasource. If it cannot I need to devop an SSIS script to etl the data to a table structure that I can report on and then write the report. I’d like to hire someone to work with me over skype to understand the issue and make recommendations, help with prototyping etc.. This person should enjoy a challenge and be well versed in SSIS and Powershell.

Sir/Madam, I am interested in the Project. I have understanding of Power BI which is a sort of Data Presentation in different form of Pictorial Graphs and Charts. I have VBA script which can convert JSON data into Microsoft Access Tables. After conversion of Access Tabes, we can use Power BI tool to link with tables and generate different reports and charts. Power BI is a powerful tool providing creating relationships with multiple data sources and allowing clear relationships between datasources. JSON data is a complex data format, but JavaScript provides some inbuilt library functions to perform the task. I have already done the conversion and I assure you I can perform the assignment with the best of your satisfaction.
