We have a laptop that runs Windows 10 OS.
We need to install an older Windows version (7 or XP), either by removing Windows 10, or running dual mode (W7+W10 or Wxp+W10).
The laptop has InsydeH20 rev 5.0 Bios, that seems to support UEFI only (we haven't found a way to use legacy mode).
We've tried a few ways to install Windows 7/XP, but all failed:
- Used Rufus to create a bootable EFI USB, the Windows 7 instalation starts but stops after a few seconds (a red bar appears on top of screen)
- Created a new partition in Windows 10, and started installing Windows 7 in Windows 10 (dual boot), but that failed as well.
What we need is instuctions on how to install Windows 7 (or XP) properly.
