Python Django Developer

We have an upcoming contract need for a Django CMS application developer to join our team. The Django CMS developer will be responsible for developing new website features in collaboration with client-side web developers and solution architects. A successful Django CMS developer understands Python, Django and Django CMS at a deep level and can advise on Django architecture and best practices. Experience with AWS is preferred. This is an opportunity to be a leader within the team, work in a sophisticated AWS infrastructure and improve the web applications customer experience. What You'll Do Develop new features for an existing application built on Django 1.9, Django CMS 3.4 and consult on Django architecture and best practices Use Python, Django, Django CMS and MySQL to develop new web application features Implement custom business logic and integrate with backend APIs and databases Deploy projects to staging and production environments Perform hardware/network-related troubleshooting Analyze and document middle-tier development requirements Share knowledge with others by working side by side with other developers and technologists What We're Looking For 3+ years implementing Django CMS web applications 3+ years of middle-tier web development experience in a structured development environment (agency or consulting) Strong knowledge of database commands, web app performance, web app statefulness and web security Familiarity with design patterns, data structures, and algorithms Experience building for cloud technologies (AWS preferred) Preferred experience building web APIs Comfortable in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
