G'day
I have FULL CONFIDENCE of completing the VBA macro for automating find/replace operations. It will be compatible with Word 2007 and above.
QUESTIONS / COMMENTS
• I have understood task 4 and it is slightly different from other tasks. In this case, VBA code is not supposed to "touch" the 2-word find string but rather act upon the immediately NEXT word.
• What about "overlapping" searches? E.g. suppose user enters the word "Therefore" as part of task 1. What if some line starts with "Therefore" and that line should be acted upon by task 2?
• Carriage returns (CR) are very very critical to Word in that they mark PARAGRAPHS. As well, CR stores paragraph formatting itself. If we remove CRs, resulting document will contain just a SINGLE line. Do you wish to remove CRs from specific places only?
• Of course, it will be beneficial if you can upload a sample word document and examples, if you have one.
EXPERIENCE
Although I am new to Freelancer.com, I have extensive experience in Word and VBA. I am completely familiar with Word Object Model and must tell you that it is very rich for programmatic manipulation. I have done similar projects and know underlying mechanisms thoroughly and in-depth. In other words, I do NOT use Macro Recorder for my VBA code. Rather, I write Word VBA code manually.
DEMOS
To illustrate my Word VBA skills, I can provide demo.
Thanks,
