Mostly chances of Website hacking is - Using of free themes and plugins. We have fixed lots of hacked website and and we have rebuilt many hacked website because once website is hacked we can clean up it and put security after that also there is risk of website hack after couple of months or after year. So now whatever budget you have as per that we can do. If you have less budget we can cleanup/fix website or if you are flexible with price then we will first cleanup website and then build same website again with purchasable theme. Before that can you please share your site url so that we can have a look into it. Hacker, many a times just add one line code which cause the error. We can check for the error and make the site equipped with security plug-ins as creating a new would surely be taking much time and cost. In case we wouldn't be able to find the root cause very easily then we can switch to the other part that you wanna have completed. Also, the query I have is that when you are saying need to reset the site, what all the points you want to cover in this. I am mostly available over google or Skype to discuss further.
