I have a client I built a website for and we went with a relatively fast host (Dreamhost), and in the beginning it was fast, but as more and more Wordpress plugins were added, things got slowed down quite a bit with the load times. Here is the challenge that awaits you: I don't want to get rid of any plugins if at all possible, but I do believe there is something that is causing these load times. Maybe it could be images which could be compressed, maybe its with some bad coding with a plugin... i have no idea. im a web designer, not a web developer, lol. I just would like the problem identified and fixed for my client. the website is [login to view URL]

Hello a webiste with more number of plugins is bound to get slowed down because of loading of unwanted scripts. These scripts cn be filtered out using a plugin and the load time can be decreased such that the website loads faster. You can rely on my web development experience to speed up that slow site. You weren't kidding about the speed, or lack thereof, as it took close to 10 seconds to load on my desktop. Then again, my sub-par internet might've exacerbated the slowness, hmm ... Noted on the need to retain the existing plugins, if possible.
