Hi there, The answer is actually provided in the hint from the bottom of the previous page: convolution. And the hint says you can assume that the convolution takes O(nlogn), without actually writing the pseudocode for that or proving that it does. I can complete the assignment in a few hours.

I read the fourth problem and I found it is related to electromagnetism, as a physicist I know some theory that could be useful for reducing the order of the algorithm for computing forces.
