A document management CMS is required to allow different groups of companies with similar interests to share information. The establishments will be grouped into areas, and each area will have its own menu with documents and pages that are relevant only to it.
Using XHTML/CSS for position and design (all templates provided), and PHP/MySQL for system functionality. AJAX used for front-end administrations and editing tools.
Admin Accounts - Two levels of admin access - administrators and editors. Limited admin tools available to editors.
User Accounts - Four levels of user access to the system. All pages and documents gradable via the admin tool.
Document Storage - Admin will be able to upload and store documents to create document list pages (similar to DocMan).
Event Calendar - Admin will be able to add calendar pages.
News Articles - Admin will be able to add news pages.
Contacts - Admin will able to add Lists of Contacts.
Document & Page search - Search for documents by title, description, release date etc. Users will only find documents that their security level allows.
Skins - Members will be able to choose from a selection of colour scheme stylesheets (provided).
