Biometric device C++ Api wrapper for using in .NET

I have a C++ API for a biometric device. I don't have the source code for that API, I only have the header and lib files. I need to **be able to use that C++ API in a C# .NET application** so I need a wrapper (or other suggested solution) in order to make a CLR compatible DLL that I can use. The API issues "windows messages" that have to be captured in order to know when the biometric device has completed reading the fingerprint and the result (error, success, timeout, etc). I also have two sample applications written in C++(MFC) that use the C++ API, that may help you, but remember that the final application I have to build is in C# So, to conclude, I need a smart programmer that can write the wrapper, and I will write the C# .NET application using that wrapper.
