The goal for this project is to create a function that can modify the password stored in the system bios. For example, the tool CmosPwd
at [login to view URL] can reset the password on most bios versions.
The project should be C or ASM code that modifies the cmos password based on text passed into it. If possible on the type of bios, change the boot order to First drive and nothing else.
The goal is to deploy a program in the login script for 2500 users on a school network so that the bios prevents booting from a CD-ROM and has a password that will be changed weekly.
If the bios is unrecognized by signature, the tool should dump the bios image to a file so we can review it later.
The project bid amount has been increased.
