Configure DNS and Rename a Server 2008 Domain

I have an existing server 2008 installation which I would like to use? for shared? webhosting. I need the server properly configured for this purpose. I also need the existing domain renamed and to have that change reflected in DNS. This was a testing server so there is nothing currently that can not be changed, restarted, or reconfigured. The OS is installed, as is Active Directory, DNS, and IIS7.? ? Everything works internally, except that I believe that DNS is not configured properly as domain names do not resolve correctly. Set up DNS or whatever else it takes to get domain names to resolve correctly and show web sites on an external browser. Rename server I can provide access to the server so that the work may be done remotely. I would like the work performed at such a time where itcan be monitored for security reasons. I prefer Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm eastern standard time.
