Create percent rank table for access

I will have an MS Access db containing two tables (tbl_ROE_Analysis_PTD and tbl_ROE_Analysis_LTM). Each structured is structured exactly the same, with ~115 fields and each table contains ~50,000 records. The table structure for each table is as follows: - ID - Period (text) - Segment (text) - Variable 1 (number) - Variable 2 (number) ... - Variable 112 (number) I need sometone to: 1. Write me an efficient function/module/query to determine the percentrank (per the excel function) for all records for all variable, where the Segment and Period field is the same as other records in the table, and 2. output the results to new tables (tbl_ROE_Analysis_pct_PTD and tbl_ROE_Analysis_pct_LTM) with the same structure as the original 2 tables. 3. Provide me with the underlying code to run the process separately. Percentrank is basically dividing the decending rank of the variable n record by the total count of records where the segment & periods field values are the same. Where records have equal value, the percentrank results should be equal. Given the relatively large dataset, this will require someone who knows what they are doing with efficient coding and is patient enough generate the full results to make the new tables.
