We are looking to get a "widget" developed possibly in Flash that sits on a users desktop and "pulls in data" from an XML file that is hosted on a web server. We would like to use this "widget" to display current information such as snow conditions, latest news etc. The "widget" has to be platform independent, it should run on Windows, Mac, and Linux based desktops. I've attached a file what the "widget" could look like.
