Thanks for your posting. I am very familiar with opencv as well as I have full experiences in which used opencv for android app. I think you faced at denoising issue to enhance the text on image. Of course AbsDiff can be used to do it, but we couldn't get a good image with only the function. If you contact me and share sample image, I can help you with my abilities.
