Scope Document - “Turk’s Compass” Mobile App Development & Project Project Overview Project Name: “Turk’s Compass” Mobile App Development Project Budget: up to 500-1000 CAD Project Title: Project Abstract: Introducing "Turk’s Compass" – a ground-breaking Yellow Pages mobile app to serve as a “finder” for services/establishments and information. This mobile app should be released both on the Apple iOS and Google Android App Stores. Targeted audience of the application are: a) Entire Turkish community in Canada regardless of their city (Supporting major cities, such as Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Ottawa, London, Calgary, Regina) b) Anyone from Turkey wishing to immigrate to Canada. Project Plan: • Facilitate easy access to services, allowing users to post and view reviews. • Categorize features into five main areas, represented as tiles inspired by the Katalog Kanada app mentioned above. 1. Food and Entertainment 1. a) Turkish restaurants, cafes, bars, shisha bars, etc. 2. Healthcare, Personal Services, and Renovation Services • a) Dentists, doctors, vets • b) Hairdressers, nail salons, tailors • c) Lawyers, Immigration Consultants, Certified Translators, Education Consultants, Realtors • d) Accountants, Mortgage Brokers, Insurance Brokers, Bankers • e) Construction/Renovation Services, Plumbers, Electricians, Locksmiths • f) Consulate/Embassy • g) Find my Member of Parliament (MP), and a feature to redirect users to send an email to their local MP. The page will show MPs. Users can use the filter option to view the MPs of any city. From there, users can view the contact information of the MP. Reference: [login to view URL] All these details regarding the above Turkish businesses will be pulled from the Google Maps API. This data flow should occur at least weekly. The data that will be pulled is detailed out in the Development & Technical section. If this cannot be pulled from the Google API, the software developer will refresh the data from Google Maps and relevant online sources every month for the next 12 months post-release. The complete design of the product, including UI/UX design, will be supported by the software developer. Details of the project can be found attached.
