I need a proficient AngularJS developer to address a specific bug in my application. The issue pertains to a pre-existing drop-down list that should be selected as default but isn't. While the drop-down list is currently visible and populated with the correct options, it doesn't stick as the default selection. A deep understanding of data binding and template rendering is crucial to effectively solving this issue. Previous experience with similar AngularJS problems will be greatly considered. You need to work remotely on my desktop.
