Mantının Yemek Olarak Hazırlanması: Mantının miktarına uygun bir tencere içerisine 500 gr hazırlanmış mantı için 2 litre kadar su konularak kaynatılır. Yaklaşık 15 dakikalık pişirme işleminden sonra, mantı morluğunu kaybeder ve ağarır bu esnada hamur ve un kokusu üründen uzaklaşır. Ancak normalden fazla kaynatıldığında, hamur özünü kaybeder ve yumuşayarak dağılmaya başlar. Pişen mantı ateşten alındıktan sonra üzerine iki bardak soğuk su dökülür ve karıştırılır. Suyun fazlası süzülerek mantı bir kâseye alınır. Mantı miktarına göre sos hazırlamak üzere, bir tavaya tercihen 1 yemek kaşığı tereyağı koyularak, hafifçe duman çıkana kadar ısıtılır. Daha sonra 1 yemek kaşığı da salça ve kırmızıbiber ilave edilerek karıştırılır. Bu karışıma, süzülen mantının suyundan da ilave edilebilir. Bu şekilde hazırlanan sos, kâseye alınan ve tamamını kaplayacak şekilde yoğurt ilavesi yapılmış olan mantıya, üzerinde gezdirmek suretiyle eklenir.
