Hi, I am looking for a content writer for a large online sports media outlet. The website has a large following and thus it is extremely important for us to find the right person for the job. Although we are a sports outlet, we predominantly focus on combat sports such as MMA and boxing. The lucky winning bidder must be a passionate journalist with some understanding of sports news. You must also be able to show the following: - RELIABLE!!!! I have had many people apply for jobs and then they are slow to reply. I need someone who will be available daily to write as many as 3-10 stories PER DAY. If you disappear for days at a time, do not bother applying; - Perfect English skills; - The ability to write fresh copy without plagiarizing content from other websites; - Be able to showcase that you know how to write journalistic articles, properly referencing sources and quoting correctly; - Ability to show a small selection of examples which demonstrate your ability to write correctly flowing articles; We have a small (but extremely useful) team of writers who handle all the major breaking news stories which are placed on social media. The focus for YOUR content will be to handle some of the lesser important breaking news stories. Because our team is small we only have the ability to pick the most important stories. Your job will be to add to the growing inventory of content with on-topic important stories. Your articles will be submitted through our system for review. The job requires you to turn over a number of articles in a short period of time. We will be looking for anywhere between 3-10 articles per day. You will also be handed specific topics/news stories to make use of, so there will not be a requirement to spend time "searching" for stories. PLEASE - Professional journalistic writers only. English must be your primary language as high-writing skills are required.

I have studied English since the age of 4, therefore I can say I speak it as if it were my mother-tongue, even though Italian is my actual native language. I have always been very passionate about sports, not only practicing a variety of them (such as snowboard, capoeira, tennis, football, volleyball....) but also following them and learning more about them through books and websites.
