When I graduated from the University of Virginia with a degree in Music Theory and Composition, I almost immediately turned to the literary world. However, in the intervening fifteen years, I have composed, privately, numerous pieces. Last December, I decided to branch out and begin composing for a living. In December, I completed a job quite similar to yours: I composed four tracks to an in-development video game.
Because I am new to this, I understand any trepidation you may feel. Therefore, I offer two things: first, I keep my rate low, and, secondly, I will provide sample tracks of my work - as many as you feel are appropriate.
Beyond this, I do have two questions: How many tracks/songs do you need? Do you have any game play or demo footage available, which I may reference?
I would very much like to discuss this further with you. Thank you for taking the time to read this!
